Drumline Levelstep DLRTV020RK Probe

The Questtec Solutions Level-Trac QTLT-PR870-CRV is a copy of the Clark Reliance RV020RK and RT020RK probes. All these probes are cheap PTFE based probes. The Drumline DLRTV020RK is a fully featured brazed zirconia probe with bearing grade PTFE coating.

 The Clark Reliance RV020RK probe is a PTFE based probe used in their EL1000 water column. The stated maximum rating is 1000 psi (70 bar) @ 285 degrees C (545 F). PTFE actually has a maximum rating of 260 degrees C and we would never recommend uses these above that level. PTFE probes are all constructed by compressing the PTFE and metal together to for a seal. This type of seal can be unreliable due to the movement and expansion of the metal. 

Drumline recommends the use of its DLRTV020RK, where the operating pressure in below 40 bar. For applications above 40 bar we would recommend using DLRZG020RK. 

The Drumline DLRTV020RK is a DLRZG020RK brazed zirconia insulator based probe that has a ultra-tough bearing grade PTFE coating over the zirconia. This creates an ultra reliable upgrade probe. The DLRTV020RK and DLRZG020RK probes both use spiral wound stainless steel and graphite gaskets, instead of the cheaper gaskets used by Clark Reliance.
