The Clark Reliance RF031BRZRK probe is a brazed zirconia insulator based probe used in their ELF3000 water column. Clark Reliance introduced this to replace the RFG031RK probe, which is a non brazed probe. The stated maximum rating is 3000 psi (207 bar) @ 370 degrees C (695 F).
Drumline recommends the use of its DLRF031BRZRK as an upgrade for the Clark Reliance Probe. The DLRF031BRZRK is a brazed Zirconia probe that uses a spiral wound stainless steel and graphite gasket, instead of the cheaper fibre filled gaskets that Clark Reliance use, that are reported to be unreliable. The DLRF031BRZRK is a direct upgrade for the Clark Reliance RF031BRZRK. Clark Reliance probes are extremely expensive at nearly $900 each and $25 for gaskets. Drumline can offer a better product at a much more realistic price.
All Drumline Ltd Levelstep probes are manufactured to the highest standards in the UK using stainless steel to zirconia (or ZTA) vacuum brazing. All materials are carefully selected to minimise the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) differences between the materials. This leads to a more reliable brazed joint. All probes have the brazed joints gilded to add an extra degree of protection. Every probe in helium leak tested after brazing, ensuring that even the tiniest imperfections in the braze joint are identified.
Multi-Probe Electronic Level Indicator - Electronic boiler drum level monitoring equipment and electronic single or multipoint level switches use vacuum-brazed conductivity based level probes to provide the sensing element of the system. These are typically constructed from stainless stee and a brazed zirconia insulator (Zirconia toughened Alumina being another option for higher temperatures). There are numerous drum level indicators in the world and typically they charge a premium price for replacement level probes. Drumline probes are the same construction and materials, but are priced at more realistic levels, which are between 50% and 500% lower than the OEMS.
