The brand "Hydrastep" has changed hands many times over the years, and now it is owned by Delta Mobrey, a company without the knowledge or experience of these products. Drumline probes are much cheaper and more readily available. Drumline will continue to stock the highest quality direct replacement probes for the systems Delta Mobrey has made obsolete.
Clark Reliance - Clark Reliance is a USA company that's renowned for its exceptionally high prices for spare parts. Drumline manufactures direct replacements for all Clark Reliance probes. They are exceptionally high quality and a fraction of the price of Clark Reliance probes.
Fossil Power Systems - The Aquarian OEM probe is constructed using brazed 304 stainless steel and a zirconia insulator. 304 stainless steel is not the best material to use for probe construction. The thermal expansion coefficient (rate of expansion with increase in temperature) of the two materials does not match well and it leaves the probe susceptible to failure at the brazed joint. Drumline uses materials that are more closely matched in terms of thermal expansion coefficient, which results in a more reliable probe.
Questtec Solutions - Questtec Solutions was an agent for another electronic-level indicator company, before copying all their products and starting to manufacture them themselves. Questtec Solutions still purchases their direct replacement probes from another unrelated company.
